To kick of the new year’s calendar, Wei-Ling Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Jeganathan Ramachandram entitled Mindwatch-The Observer, the Observed.
With an illustrious artistic career behind him, Jeganathan’s beautifully rendered paintings a of the human form are riddled both figuratively and literally with allegorical subjects which meander throughout the work,in a bid to express his views on life in a lyrical, poetic way.
It is his yearning for the deep meaning and mysteries of life, which enable him to capture symbolically how he sees our physical, psychological and spiritual connection with the universe around us.
Since his last solo exhibition at Galeri Petronas in 2008,Jeganathan has continued in his quest to tell stories about people, their lives, and how the transformation of our world has affected the human condition.
Mindwatch-The Observer, the Observed promises to be a key event on the scene as we see the artist scaling new heights with his presentation of paintings and sculptural works.
Mindwatch-The Observer, the Observed features at Wei-Ling Gallery from January 13th -February 10th 2010.
Wei-ling Gallery is located at No.8 Jalan Scott, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, 50470, Malaysia
