KUALA LUMPUR: Artist Kim Ng is presenting his fifth solo exhibition at Wei Ling Gallery in Brickfields.

Kim’s works show references of to his childhood and the time he spent growing up in a small town.

In the exhibition titled “An Idyllic Space”, Ng’s works refer to his childhood and the time he spent growing up in a small town.

His works also show his interpretation of the sights and sounds of the cities he has visited around the world.

“I have always been interested in places where the buildings and houses are structured systematically and I like the unique street names that I have come across.”
He uses a stencil technique and finished paint, and some of the artwork are made from materials like bitumen, charcoal and silk screen.

He has a master’s in design and media art from the University of Westminster, London.

The exhibition ends on Friday.
