The Field Beyond

Wei-Ling Gallery is pleased to have Choy Chun, Wei, Ivan Lam and Yau Bee Ling featuring in ‘The Field Beyond’, an exhibition organised by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
This exhibition presents works that focus on the painstaking labors of process and of making an art object. Stories and concepts help us to shape art in our imagination. At the same time, it is the process of making that opens the mind of both the maker and the viewer, to a ‘field’ beyond. It is the field where, as the poet Rumi once said, the ‘soul lies down’ and ‘the world is too full to talk’. And as we lay there, the ‘breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you’.

‘The Field Beyond‘ is featured at Lim Hak Tai Gallery @ NAFA Campus 1, 80 Bencoolen Street, Singapore from 1 – 31 October 2021.
